Coffee is grown primarily in three regions: Latin Americas, Africa and the Pacific Islands. All coffees vary region to region, farm to farm and crop to crop, but in general: · Latin American coffees have medium acidity giving them a traditional character. · African coffees have higher acidity and intense flavors giving them a wine like crispiness or tang. · Pacific Island coffees have lower acidity, making them smooth and full-body. Decaf – The Swiss Water Process of decaffeinating produces full-flavored coffees without the use of harmful chemicals. It is more expensive than chemically decaffeinated coffee but it is better – in the cup and in the environment. |
